    A concept to use energy of air flows of technogenic area of mining enterprises

    Topical issues concerning the possibilities of effective energy generation on the basis of Ukrainian mining enterprises have been highlighted. Attention is drawn to one of the most challenging tendencies of nontraditional energy sources development in the process of wind- driven powerplant use. The plants consume energy of technogenic air flows. Operation schemes and engineering solutions as for the possibilities to involve nontraditional sources of energy resulting from operation of technogenic objects and industrial structures of enterprises (i.e. stopes, mine dumps, industrial facilities etc.) in power balance of a mining enterprise have been demonstrated. Energy efficiency of the wind- driven powerplants in the context of different operation schemes aimed at utilization of energy of technogenic air flows has been analyzed. Output of a wind-driven system as a component of technological segment of a mining enterprise making it possible to meet 20 to 44% of its power demand has been determined. The objective of the paper is to substantiate process solutions as well as technical and engineering ones as for the obtaining nontraditional energy sources basing upon introduction of wind- driven power plants

This article presents a starting point that allows the two disciplines to more accurately refer to a specific element of the complete system‐of‐interest. The aim is that this will allow for improved communication between the practitioners of the different disciplines and perhaps the development of improved solutions

    Power and Resourse Efficient Envoronmentally Safe Technology for Processing Dumps of Technogenic Waste From Ore-Dressing and Processing Enterprises

    This research proposes a systematic approach for the analysis of volumes, physicochemical, granulometric, lithologic and thermal characteristics of waste from ore-dressing and processing enterprises stored in the dumps (tailing dumps) of ore-dressing and processing plants to assess the economic potential of its use in the system of complex power and resource efficient environmentally safe processing including palletizing machines, conveyor indurating machines and ore–thermal furnaces. The obtained results allow the authors to formulate the basic engineering, technological, economic and environmental requirements for complex chemical and power engineering systems of processing technogenic waste from ore-dressing and processing plants, these results make it also possible to define the degree of variability for the characteristics of the waste lots from various dumps. The paper describes the developed intensional and mathematical formulations for the multiscale problem of optimizing chemical and power engineering processes of technogenic raw materials processing in a complex chemical and power engineering system as a problem for discrete dynamic programming. The distinctive feature of this problem is to take into account the spatio-temporal multistage processing in a moving multilayer mass of pelletized raw material, the intensity of the process of internal moisture transfer and the variables for the control flow of the heat carrier gas. It allows increasing power efficiency by intensifying heat and mass transfer processes of multilayer drying, calcination and sintering. The criterion of the efficiency is the minimum cost of electric and thermal energy spent on processing. The obtained results were used to calculate power efficient environmentally safe processing of technogenic waste from ore-dressing and processing enterprises dumps. It was defined that heat and mass transfer processes are intensified, power consumption is reduced and the quality of the finished product is increased in the conditions of optimal power and resource efficient operation for the processing system.     Engineering Design of A Gang Drilling Machine Equipped with Jig and Fixtures to Make A Prototype Machine in Birdcage Production

    This paper is dealing with the engineering design of a gang drilling machine with jig & fixtures to make a prototype machine. This effort has been done in order to solve the problem which aroused in small business enterprises producing birdcages. The problem was how to minimize the production time in making a lot of holes that have same distance and straightness. Hopefully, the prototype machine can help the small business enterprises to increase their production rate.The design engineering process has been carried out by variant approximation on dowel pin modular fixtures in order to simplify fixtures design. CAD CAM software has also been used as fixtures synthesized method including geometric analysis and three dimensional fixtures assembling. The resulting prototype machine can be well operated and based on the running test, it can be concluded that the greater the motor rotation the greater the power needed. As for teak wood, at 250 rpm motor rotation the power needed is 26.5 watt, and at 400 rpm the motor needs power of 43.6 watt while at 600 rpm the motor needs power of 600 watt. The power consumption is also depends on the type of material, the better the mechanical properties of the materials, the higher the power consumption. For cast iron, the 400 rpm motor rotation needs power as high as 569.7 watt. This prototype of gang drilling machine needs power of 350 watt to make five holes on teak wood while ordinary drilling machine needs total power of 1350 watt

    В статті досліджено особливості функціонування електроенергетики України, обґрунтовано доцільність впровадження концепції маркетингу партнерських стосунків у діяльність електроенергетичних підприємств, адаптовано поняття логістичного обслуговування, запропоновано комплекс маркетингу та стандарти логістичного обслуговування відповідно умовам ринку електроенергії.The peculiarities of power engineering functioning in Ukraine are investigated, the necessity of the implementation of the concept of partnership marketing into activities of power engineering enterprises grounded, the notion of logistic service is adapted, the marketing-mix and logistic service standards for the electricity market are suggested in the article. The notion of logistic services, suggested as a set of functions and types of activities of all subsystems of an enterprise that provides interrelations “enterprise – customer” according to each material and informational flows by product mix, quality, quantity, place, and time of output (merchandise, service, work) supply due to the market demand, is adapted to the conditions of the electric energy market in the article The Peculiarities Of Ukrainian Power Industry. The main standards of logistic services in this sphere are developed using such elements: the presence of qualified (appropriate) personnel; necessary objects and instruments of work; the time of an order fulfillment (promised speed of fulfillment); flexibility of the product supply system; data support of the product supply system; the system of mistakes and drawbacks elimination while supplying electric energy and energy supply service; after-sale services.     Social engineering as a field of science has undergone a stationary period, after which it has spread with new power in educational activities. The article analyzes the status of social engineer, combining its positions of an engineer and a sociologist. Within the framework of socio-engineering activity it is necessary to mention several directions, such as, management consulting, social construction (design, programming and planning), social engineering studies (analysis, diagnosis and examination), organizational and technological activity. They present the main ground in the field of management of social processes for the qualification of future employees. The authors suppose that socio-engineering activity in enterprises should be an integral part of functional management system, along with economic and technological control of production activity
